Heritage Communicator
Heritage Communicators are responsible for learning and delivering education programs, presenting interpretive demonstrations and programs, leading guided tours, working collaboratively with a variety of staff, assisting with the presentation of special events, acting as an ambassador for the site (both on-site and off-site) as well as other related activities. Park Communicator
Park Communicators greet visitors and provide information and orientation related to facilities, services, programs, regulations, and safety precautions in person or by telephone. They collect revenue using a point of sale system and complete daily sales deposits. BILINGUAL STUDENTS
Janitorial Student
Janitorial Students work in a team environment as members of the Visitor Experience team. Their goal is to ensure our facilities and places are clean, accessible and welcoming to our visitors. They work together to perform a variety of daily janitorial duties, and they also work outdoors to complete tasks such as stacking wood in the campgrounds, litter picking throughout the park and cutting grass. ENGLISH or BILINGUAL STUDENTS
Visitor Experience Musician Animator
The Visitor Experience Musician-Animator will be responsible for incorporating history, music and theatre into the programs of the Visitor Experience offer at Green Gables Heritage Place. The student will be expected to engage visitors through music and theatre, and increase appreciation for the site. The student will deliver interactive on-site animation in character, as well as support off site special activities. BILINGUAL STUDENTS
ANNE-imator
This student will be responsible for portraying the character “Anne of Green Gables”, at Green Gables Heritage Place. ‘Anne’ will engage visitors, pose for photo opportunities and participate in interpretive activities, such as old-fashioned games and races and ice-cream making and other potential demonstrations. BILINGUAL STUDENTS
Students must currently be enrolled as a full-time or part-time student in an academic institution
