Job Description

CHANCES is looking for two Smart Play Supervisors to join our Smart Play after-school programs. Supervisors play an important role in creating safe, engaging, and supportive environments for children, families, and staff.

Locations & Hours: Smart Play Donagh – located in Fort Augustus Monday–Friday, 1:30–5:30 PM

Smart Play Rustico – located in North Rustico Monday–Friday, 1:30–5:30 PM

Wage: $18.62/hour

Status: Permanent (pending School Age Certificate approval)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver play-based learning activities.
  • Build positive relationships with children and families.
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and support for staff.
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive program environment.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • School Age Certification (or working toward approval)
  • First Aid Certification
  • Food Safety Certification
  • Reliable transportation
