At the heart of Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓÆµ is a commitment to creating a learning environment and workplace where every voice is valued, and every individual feels a true sense of belonging. The Office of Culture and Inclusion leads efforts to build and sustain a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment where people of all backgrounds can thrive.
We develop and implement strategies that support equitable hiring, inclusive leadership, and cultural awareness across the organization. Through strategic planning with a whole systems perspective, we facilitate training, policy development, and the support of employee resource groups and student resource groups. We foster an inclusive culture that celebrates identity, promotes fairness, and drives innovation through diverse perspectives.
Our office also tracks key metrics to ensure accountability and continuous progress, while building partnerships both internally and within our broader community to amplify impact.

Inclusion- Inclusion fosters belonging and community. It is the process through which the Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓÆµ community is built to recognize, welcome, respect, and value individuals for their uniqueness.
Equity- Equity means treating individuals and groups fairly. Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓÆµ recognizes that there may be times when differential treatment to individuals or groups is required to ensure a fair outcome is reached. To achieve such an outcome, the ¼â½ÐÊÓÆµ will strive to remove barriers to allow for equal access to educational and employment opportunities.
Diversity - Diversity refers to the presence and recognition of unique and varied histories, experiences, perspectives and approaches that individuals bring to the Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓÆµ community. Diversity is about acknowledging and celebrating our differences.
Indigeneity - Indigeneity refers to the culture of being Indigenous or relating to Indigenous-ness. In our practice at Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓÆµ, we recognize and are committed to collaborating with Indigenous Peoples relating to their culture, community, traditions and identity.
Accessibility- Accessibility means ensuring all people, no matter their level of ability, can engage with information, materials, equipment and services provided by the Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓÆµ
